eNerd feat. Ben Neill & Luca Kézdy: Bartók Update 2.0
Béla Bartók was one of the most influential composers of the 20th century, who evolved a completely individual style that fused folk elements with contemporary sounds and classical forms. His compositional methods were in many regards similar to those of the latest electronic music -he took journeys to several countries to make field recordings of local folk music with his Edison phonograph -the then state-of-the-art “audio sampler”- and then incorporated those “samples” into his original compositions.

Endre-eNerd³ - Caravan
The Caravan video was a one-off project. The idea came from Tam-Tam Music Center, who are the local distributors of Turkish Cymbals. They wanted to make a video featuring their three major endorsers. This was one of the most interesting projects in my life. I took swing legend Imre Kőszegi (71) -recovering from a serious shoulder injury- and fellow drummer Zoltán Farkas to the studio and give Juan Tizol's classic tune a new, "eNerdized" meaning. I'm very proud I could persuade Imre to play some electronic music for the first time and that he really enjoyed it. Also, this was the debut of "MegaTap", a finger drum and MIDI controller I built.
